Comic is up. That "comic" thing I do. Yea.
Vote for it to see a preview of a poster I'm working on. Shweet.
Huzzah. Updates to the front page.
I have no idea how they look in Internet Explorer 7. Turns out to install IE7, you have to have Service Pack 2. Great. Except SP2 sets my computer on fire.
Yes, literally. And people wonder why I'm covered in horrible horrible burn scars. Thanks SP2. I do know how this page looks in IE6.
Total, unadulterated crap.
So no IE7 for me, and no testing how the front page renders in it.
Seriously though, if you don't use firefox by now, you really should be asking yourself why.
Here's the comic. Day early. Happy April.
I found this enlightening. So thats what I've been doing wrong all these years. Go figure.
So, here's the first strip with the new comic process. I don't know whether it looks any different, but let me tell you, the way I made it is completely different.
Overnights at work are over, so comics are back on schedule, as they say. Due to a friend's experiences, I won't disclose where I work for any reason. Those things tend to catch up with you.
If you get a chance, check out my latest flash work.
Still tweaking my comic making process, so sorry for the slow update...
In other news, World War Z is a great read. So go. READ!
So. This strip took me twice as long as usual. Backgrounds are a pain in the butt. And, as my friend Ben would say, "the thing is," you don't even look at them, really. My original idea for the comic was to have no backgrounds, but it quickly became apparent that in a story driven strip, they were a necessary evil. Ug.
And so, it took many many tries to get all the scenes to look right. Hope you like it.
So, I'm going on Christmas vacation from the comic for the month of December.
Wait...
I probably should have told you that ahead of time, instead of after the fact.
Ah well. Next time.
